Moses Cone Manor - Weekly Tours

Moses H. Cone Memorial Park is home to Flat Top Manor, which has 25 miles of carriage and bridle trails popular with hikers, horseback riders, and those just looking to soak up the NC mountain views.  There are two lakes on the property, Trout & Bass lake, as well as an apple orchard & barn, an observation tower, and an old family cemetery.  The Parkway Craft Center is located inside Flat Top Manor, is open April through October, and craft demonstrations often take place on the porch of the Manor during the open months.

Between now and October 6th, 2023, the National Park Service will be providing FREE guided tours of Flat Top Manor every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.  Tours are ranger-led and structured for the time(s) indicated below. Open houses are self-guided and self-paced, during which a ranger will be inside answering questions.  Tour schedule is detailed below:

• Friday:
  Tour: 10:30 - 11:30
  Open House: 1:30 - 4:00
• Saturday:
  Tour: 10:30 - 11:15 and 11:30 - 12:15
  Open House: 1:30 - 4:00
• Sunday:
  Tour: 10:30 - 12:00 and 2:00 - 3:30
